-
I miss you.
Didn't you hear My screams and cries
that Echo through the darkest of nights
Like a band of wolves or a banshee's cry?
Or a distraught mother's gasping sigh
as she watches her only daughter die?
Can you see the aura I've left behind?
The one of colors inside your mind..
swimming like a school of fish lost
in a place they can't find their way out of.
Did you think I'd forget you?I don't need your name tied around my finger
to remember something that's etched into my heart
and burned into my cherished chest of memories.
I need you, I feed off you,
for you I do declare
a love so pure, so rare.
Does the distance complicate us?
Does it make me love you less?
For me that's a no.
Because you'll always be the best.
Sure others get to see me
but never will they compare
to the purity of what we had
their lies will never fare.
And if any foolish knight or filthy damsel
try to stand in my way
their hearts I will rip out and blood I will drink
their bodies I will slay.
If distance were a person
I would mutilate them too
because I no longer
want to have to miss you.
