• You are my lantern at night,
    a burning flame so bright,
come to guide me into the light,
and cleanse me of this blight...

    Though my feet may slip,,
    as the wind doth whip,
    and the rain does drip,
    your flame just keeps burning,
    unwavering, my steadfast sight...

And as just in front you light,
with that flame that buns just right,
    till the day does come,
when i step into the light,
shed that which was my blight,
    and join your radiant light....

    Till then,
you are my lantern at night.
