• It may seem a friend in our time of need
    whether it be sex, cocaine, alcohol or weed
    we do what we can to find that friend
    Even if it means finding some one with money to lend
    we think it helps us with our burdensome trouble
    when it is really drowning us, leaving no air, not a bubble
    Eventually it will destroy us, each one and all
    no matter if you're rich, big, poor or small
    if we don't reach out for a helping hand
    we will forever succumb to it's insatiable demand.
