Flower in Hand
His hand out reached, waiting to be grasped
No was the answer the spirit called out within
Body moving, animated from within
Dark, evil desires moving the roots of a flower
Flower to be tainted with the touch of a hand
Beware!
Oh how that spirit called as it too held a hand
But the flower only reached for the one to grasp
Thorns of it's own yet that hand did not fear
To taint the flower was the desire within
"Hush" the out stretched hand said to the flower
Hushing and tampering the spirit who's hand withered
Be still!
No no, the flower could not hear
The flower far too drawn by the hand
The hand the hand the hand!
She dared grasp the hand, a hand that burned!
The flower withered and decayed within the blackness
The hand got what it desired, the flower dead
Dead yet living, breathing to spill crimson
Farewell!
The spirit gone as the flower nothing but thorn
The hand drowning in crimson
The hand the hand the hand!
Flower in hand drowning in crimson.

Description:
I wrote this after watching "For Colored Girls". It was a very great film and I recommend you to watch it. It's fill with drama and the poems the women recite are very beautiful and powerful.
These are my words, none taken from the film. As stated I was inspired after watching it and so do enjoy. - Date: 01/02/2013
