Some have ventured for fun

Some have ventured to get away

When the day is said and done.

Some have ventured to remember

Some have ventured to forget

Some have ventured to find a place

Where they will never be upset.

Some have ventured to lose

Some have ventured to find

Some have ventured to struggle

Against the daily wear and grind.

Some have ventured for victory

Some have ventured for defeat

Some have ventured to tell their hearts

They will never again be beat.

Some have ventured to be lost

Some have ventured to be found

Some have ventured to have their hopes

Dashed into the ground.

Some have ventured to fight

Some have ventured to die

And some have ventured to learn

You must fall to learn how to fly.
