Eighteen years old and I couldn't wait,
I always wanted to grow up and leave.
But now that its here I've suddenly realized,
life is harder than I had once believed.
I grew out of my old dresses,
and all my favorite shoes.
I gave up my childhood,
to be a person I choose.
All my doll houses are broken,
and my stuffed animals are burned.
And all after eighteen years,
let me tell you what I learned.
Don't rush to be all grown up,
cherish the time you have.
Because someday you'll look back,
and realize it was never all that bad.
Keep you're loved ones super close,
because they are what you'll miss most.

Description:
Here's a poem
with eighteen lines.
Eighteen regrets
and eighteen rhymes.
Last remaining birthday poem.
Maybe I'll start from 0 and work my way up to 15 where the series started.
