Broken and disgarded
Lost and now forgotten
Lay a little doll
In the corner of the room.
Her dress is worn down
Her amber eyes now faded
Hair unkempt and unbrushed
Lying on the floor.
Day by day we pass her
See her lying there
Yet other toys call favor
So she is soon ignored.
Her lifeless eyes cry tears
Her porcelin chin quivers
Her fixed arms rise
Calling out for attention.
Yet not a move she makes
Nor a sound comes from her body
As she simply stares out
At the children playing.
Yet there is still hope
For the girl who has no toys
One day she might see this doll
And claim it as her own.
Watching, the doll waits
For the girl to notice
See her battered form
And be held close once more.
She and the girl alike
Both ignored and forgotten
Both ragged and abandoned
The same in their creators eyes.

Description:
I blacked out when I wrote this one, and its a few years old, so I'm not sure of the inspiration. I think my ex was being mean when i wrote it, but it still applies to my life now. I'm not sure if its a sigh of a rly good poem or just a bad patch in life...

- Its both good, and a bad patch in life, the way one writes shows ones emotions like pictures, I see sadness, and darkness in this poem. I will rate it a 2, only because I have an optimistic view. If you need any advice on anything, I dont mind providing it, I suggest it, but its your choice, what do you say?
