Through thick and thin I stuck around,
Through good and bad I tried.
So many times I tried so hard,
To buy into your lies.
You said you'd never hurt me,
That you'd never do me wrong.
I wish I'd sooner realized
You'd play me all along.
Now my love's run dry,
And misshapen is my heart.
The perfect life I tried to give,
But you tore it all apart.
But I'm not the only casualty
Of this lesson in heartbreak.
Now you too, stand all alone
Exposed of being fake.
Now your "friends" have disappeared,
Your lovers gone to hide.
From every one of your empty words;
Your Lying and your pride.
That's what happens when you play the game,
And take one step too far.
It's these things in life that go to show
That karma's a b***h... If you are.

- Title: The House of Cards
- Artist: Sgt-Shrapnel
- Description: This is a retrospective of my relationship with my ex-girlfriend, who I had discovered had been doing a lot of back-stabbing during our time together. So after processing and analyzing it, I decided to write about it and how it all came down around her. so, I hope you like this. It's from the heart and a true story. I hope you enjoy it
