Perfection fails to escape you at all,
But because you're an angel you've got further to fall.
It takes the slightest of trips,
To trigger the biggest of slips.
And from grace, my friend, do you fall.
Cast from paradise, barred and restricted,
Forever you remain condemned and convicted.
You wish no longer for this life,
Of fear and pain, sorrow and strife.
And joy; You are now not permitted.
Perfection never fails to escape you at all,
You once were an angel but even you had to fall.
Without a quivering lip,
It was your heart they did rip.
Now you're hardly an angel at all.

Description:
The second line popped into my head at about 1am and I went from there.
Midnight poetry is always the best.
Enjoy. (: - Date: 04/03/2011
