You gave me wings, and made me want to fly.
Unchained the sky, and showed me the stars.
In your arms, I would feel safe from the world.
You were my place to rest my heart, rest my soul.

But now I stand alone in the dark.
My heart in fear, head spinning.
The fire's closing in, and I have nowhere to run.
You left me here to fend for myself,
And I'm too weak to go it by myself.
With no guide, no helping hand or smile, nothing!!

I should have known you would leave.
Take your bow and go...
It's alright, love.
Spread your wings and abandon me.
I'll die peacefully.
