I'm alone in this room
Not tense but gloom
As people start war
Oh god please no more
Please help the little ones
With the smog filling their lungs
Infecting their minds with the world today
Destroying their youth with destruction decay
We can only sit and see
What the world will one day be
The children filled with smoke
As they die as they choke
The fire and flames
Grownups and their cruel games
When will the madness stop
Before we all begin to drop
It's a sad true Destiny
The question being if we'll ever be free
From all the riots
It'll never be peace and quiet
Will we ever have a bit of peace
Will the madness ever cease
All the questions of humanity
All the distress and sanity
I guess times haven't changed
All our souls bound in chains
Like we're all in prison
Never to be risen
From the depths of the underground
No love no sound
Just racism and hatred
No joy to be found
Will we ever see the day
When someone will have the courage to say
Will they ever let go of the hatred in their fist
Before we all cease to exist

- This is truly a nice poem,, unfortunately most of these things are true. You have a way with words.
