Do you think I don’t see?
I’m just your pest;
couldn’t care less about me,
just worried some snake might rattle your nest.
It’s so careless it won’t let me rest,
that you truly do believe
all-in-all it is only best
that I feel that much kinder to leave.
It’s one thing to my thoughts retrieve,
and another to toss them ashore.
It’s pitiful that every thought I care to conceive
is born into words you abhor.
But I seldom have courage to cause my own tears to leak
and I seldom do have the will for stickling, so to speak.

Description:
I had a fight with my mom a few days ago, I'm not really angry anymore but I like the poem. It was nice and I figured it shouldn't go to waste (not that I plan to delete it, but I probably won't be reading it much).
Format: Spenserian.
