When I walked in
I never expected to see
Those dark green eyes looking back at me
It cut like a knife
That you would take your own life
In my cellar, my cellar at home
Did you think about me when you gung by that rope
Did you decide this after seeing my note?
I looked up to you and did everything you asked
What did I do to bring the rope around your neck?
Was it because I looked up to you?
Was it because I asked you to take me to the zoo?
Was it because you closed your eyes
Closed your eyes and watched as life passed you by?
In that cellar where we found you
Adoration grows through the roof
I left it there in the dark
Because my adoration for you
Is no more
