He loves her knobby knees,
And the way she clicks her teeth when she's thinking,
And how she smells like honey and motor oil.
She loves his crooked nose,
And the way he pronounces his 'r's,
And how he tastes like salt and apple cider.
They both love Fall because of all the colors,
And they both hate Spring because it's too green.
Fall becomes Winter and Winter melts into Spring,
And he no longer loves her knobby knees.
Now he hates her permanent frown,
And the way her voice gets cold when she's angry,
And how she closes her eyes during an argument.
Spring becomes Summer and Summer fades back into Fall,
And she no longer loves his crooked nose.
Now she hates his clenched jaw,
And the way he can't finish a sentence when he's mad,
And how he sits down and sighs when he doesn't have anything else to say.
And they both hate Fall because of all the change.

- I really like the premise, and the imigry. You used some very nice words. You're poem needs more balance, try to balance the lines, some lines are just too long, and others too short. You change that, and this will be a poem people remember.
