Sorrow washed over she who not be named.
Even when she strained that it was okay,
Voices contended that she should be ashamed;
While sinful scars kept nothing at bay.
The suffering she hid was more tenebrous then night.
When she was alone,
Her world was that of black and white:
Oh but no one would have known;
Except for one who payed her mind,
But not even he who loved could see:
That she was a once in a life time find,
And he let her go gradually.
But as the shadows distorted her sight,
She whispered to him, "You were the moon in my darkest night".
