Gritted teeth and fists clenched;
Opposite,
Bared fangs and claws outstreched.
Flash!
Exchanged blows and both bloodied.

Man stands before beast,
Beast before man.
Unmoved, Unflinching, Unyielding
Neither will retreat,
Neither will submit.

Crash!
Two titans clash again.
Ripping, beating, slashing, crushing;
Flesh rips, bones break, blood flows.
The feud rages on...

Silence.
Both bodies lay shattered, bruised, broken.
Motionless, the scene is serene.
A vacant void descends...
Death.

Oh wow, I can't believe I'm the first to comment. Normally I don't like poems, but this is really an exception. It's not just a regular senseless, "my life is crappy blood tears sadness darkness waaaah," crap.

Anyways, your use of repetition really sold this poem. It feels like I'm actually reading a poem, and not an angsty teen drama. The prose is well done, in my opinion, and it flows very fluidly!

And I love the last stanza, it's just wonderfully executed. 5/5
