-
Fermenting on the grainy beach
amidst twilight’s blooming,
I watch the salty waves
crash along Gaea’s Earth.
From the nocturnal skies above,
I hear the ‘gulls screech
while their flock trace the rocky peaks.
They dip and dive
searching for a home to hibernate.
From a distance,
a lone lighthouse stands on stage.
Golden light shines,
in the thick foggy sea.
It reaches the lost ships,
and pulls them home.
My dear Poseidon,
they once said
“all life was born from the sea”,
and as the salty water licks my toes,
I feel life will soon return
to such a moist home.
