It's time for you to leave.
It it rather late, no fault of
ours. You're following behind me,
and I wait for you at the
top of the stairs.
Waiting. That's your job for the next couple of years, though.
Things will be difficult.
Oh, how I know. You look up at me, and I swear,
those dark green eyes could tell a story, and could inspire
a million love songs that'd make me feel nauseous.
You kiss me, hardly on the lips,
no need to be on your tip toes considering you're 8 inches taller than me.
You sadly smile, oh that smile.
I wish I could just hold you forever,
because every moment I spend
looking, and think of you,
the more emotional I get and
the more I want to keep loving you.
