There are moments when I look at you
And see the universe in your eyes
And when your flesh graces mine
All of existence passes through my body,
Slowly and trembling,
Filling up every part of my existence
Every part of my soul; reaching deep into my spirit.
In a gasp, flames erupt from my body
Shooting skyward towards that moon
That is holding a million secrets.
With a blink of an eye
The rain starts cascading,
Dowsing the fire; descending in a dance upon my skin
A wash of reality before the storm that takes over
Tousling my hair and flinging it into chaos
Every painful sting of water seized by the wind
Drives deep into my flesh and awakens me.
With the breath of enlivenment, I inhale
The blinding sun beckons forth
Warming and enriching my soul in incessant power
And with the sound of your gentle voice
I find myself caressed by infinite fields-
Lush and fertile, rooting me to my existence
And all I can do is lay there
As you grace me with those eyes

- Stick to word choices you're more familiar with. "Enlivenment"? "Incessant"? They just don't work. The rest is very descriptive, and...evocative. I think it needs to be a little less lengthy...that's one of the hallmarks of a poem: the impact it can achieve with few words. Otherwise prose could do it.
