    A song of love for everyone
    And laughter is the language spoken
    But then I wake
    And all I see
    Is a world full of people in need

    Does the world have to be like this?
    To tell you the truth
    When someone needs somebody
    We just turn away

    Does it have to be this way

    I ask myself
    "What will I have to do to prove myself?
    Will I have to go across the world
    Just to shoot my brother or sister?"
    If that is what I have to do
    Then, I shall never prove myself

    Can you tell me why:
    We let the forest burn?
    Let the ocean die?
    We cannot just be friends?
