-
Through the icy winter forest,
confined within the trees, yet so free
amongst the flurries of snow
drifting in the breeze.
Spinning in the wind
floating in my dreams,
away from all the fears
burning a hole in my reality.
I'd love to stay frozen out here forever;
my tears crystallizing into beads on my face.
Dripping off, plopping down,
making small spots in the snow.
My footprints vanish as soon as they're made.
The white flakes gather and form a blanket.
As if to preserve their memory.
Plopping down into the whiteness
I close my eyes.
Snow flutters down on me
Covering me in cold.
Preserving me in the memories
of a winter dream of snow.

- I really like the imagery and relatiblity of this. You even got it to rhyme (which I personallly think can be difficult). Great job!
