If I were to never die,
I'd never breathe that final sigh,
I'd live each day as if it were mine,
In a peaceful state of mind.
All the stories I could tell,
If my memory serves me well,
Or, If I can walk without falling down.
If I'd stop losing what I've already found.
If I could remember the things I've been told,
If I could ever exit my home.
If I could hear more diverse sounds,
Perhaps then I'd know when someone's around.
If I were to never die,
My whole life would be a lie.
Who needs stories, fame, or wealth,
If I were immortal, I'd kill myself.
