    Have taken their toll
    And it is time for you and God
    To take a stroll.

    As you walk through the clouds
    God says to you
    "You are loved by many
    And hated by few."

    "You had a pain
    That not even I could cure
    So there was only one thing I could do
    With a heart so pure."

    "I knew of the hole
    Your absence would leave in the hearts of others
    Such as your friends, spouse, children,
    And your sisters and brothers."

    "But I couldn't stand to see you
    In the condition you were.
    So I did what was best
    And I'm sure you would concur."

    As you looked down below
    To see what you left behind,
    Broken hearts and depression
    Is all you could find.

    "Don't think of it as sadness,"
    God said in an uplifting tone.
    "But think of it as love and care for you
    That is as forever as stone."

    With a slight grin on your face
    And a tear rolling down your chin
    Knowing it was the best
    And that one day you'll be reunited once again.

    But until that day comes
    May your worries and sorrows cease
    And take company among the Angels of God in Heaven
    Where you shall live in eternal peace.

    We have always loved you
    And we always will.
    Although you are gone
    Our love for you remains in our hearts still.
