Why do you judge me
Based on my looks
How I like to dress
The way I like to cook

Why do you judge me
For being who I am
For the advice I give out
For trying the best that I can

Why do you judge me
In the music that I like
The friends I hang out with
The people that I like

Why do you judge me
In the way I say things
By the code that I follow
And, in pain, cannot sing

I cannot change the way I am
Or what I may be
So one final question
Why do you judge me?
