    We grew up together in the same past
    when we both thought things we were always going to last
    but then all of a sudden it came to a time
    where we did not speak or even say hi
    I thought it was just a dream when
    you finally came back
    but then you started acting different
    but i tried to relax
    we ended up being together in the end
    when i started seeing things from a new end
    and out of nowhere you quit and left me in the dark
    and the only thing that existed was my shattered heart
    i thought i could trust you and you ended up hurting me
    so in order for me to know this is real
    let me ask you this
    If this was going to be the outcome, then why even try
    if you knew i would hate you for this, then why even lie
    if hurting me is what you like to do, then why even be my friend
    if you didn't love me, then why even start to pretend
