I curl up with you
and inhale your sweet scent.
You smell like happiness to me,
like my childhood memories.
Like running around
dressed like a queen,
Curling up on the floor
after the power's ignored,
Sleepovers and camping,
Girl Scouts and birthdays,
Family and friends,
even my old pets,
And on Christmas Eve,
sleeping aligned with my sisters,
Then waking up and seeing
the beautiful Christmas tree.
You smell like youthfulness,
innocence, happiness to me.

- I never had a rhyme scheme, those lines just happened to rhyme, except for the last two, I wanted those two to rhyme.

- Wish you had stayed with a rhyme scheme, or not started one. As is, the middle feels rushed and unfinished. Oh, what does "after power's ignored" mean? Power outage? Otherwise, pretty good.
