The wind whispers
Echo through this secluded sanctuary
It sounds like the eternal haunting howls of hopeless souls
The eerie sounds that seem to fill the surrounding woods
The bell tolls a loud call for the lost souls
Ding dong ding dong...
The bell’s toll echoes through the woods
Like the faint heart beat of a dying soldier
As sorrow starts to fall from the sky high above,
Turning red with the blood from the unknown souls
On which it falls dyeing the ground crimson red
The world seems to grin
Even though this is a sad sight to behold
For the bell tolls once for every lost soul
For a bloodbath on holy grounds is a grim sight for all to see
Even though the world seems to grin
The last bell tolls for the forgotten souls.
Why must the world always revert to war?
But war will never stop
So there will always be a bell that tolls for the forgotten souls
For without the bell’s toll
How shall we give honor to the ones who were forgotten?

- Incredible. Just the last stanza should have kept to the tone, you kinda slipped back into first person instead of third person there.
