Love is like a flower
That only blooms one time
Or maybe like a star,
One that rarely shines.
It is not like a rose,
It's not so easily found,
And not like the the sun that we orbit around.
Love can come once, twice, or three, but it cannot be forced, for it has to come free.
...Somewhere inbetween the laughs and tears you make me feel both of these;
Hate is like venom,
You are its prey,
Weak and defenseless,
In night and in day.
It slithers around,
In the depths of the dark,
Silly,You were doomed right from the start.
Yeah, roll around and wiggle some more,
That's where you'll die,
Right there on that floor.
Hate comes whenever, not just on cue. Run and hide, It will still target you.
But I still wish for you to hold me...

- Title: Love and Hate and In-between
- Artist: A-Sparkle-In-Her-Eye
- Description: I first wrote the love poem in school last week, and my friend Dallus wanted me to write one about hate so he could get a tattoo of them. I was happy he liked them, and wanted to see if anyone else liked them.
