• My world is a swirl of colors,
    shades of red, blue and green.
    My life is full of confusion,
    more than you've ever seen.
    Small bits of my soul
    entangled in this mess.
    This complicated situation
    provides no time to rest.
    How did my life
    get entangled so?
    When will this frigid river
    reverse its treacherous flow?
    I fight the water's current
    as it batters with relentless force.
    How much longer do I go?
    I grow tired of this course.
    A leaf slows to a halt in the palm of my hand
    and I watch as its greens turn brown.
    The fiber dissolves until nothing is left
    and the wind wails its mournful sound.
    I crumple down and lie here,
    my body a soulless shell.
    How much longer can I last?
    I'm hanging on for you,
    can't you tell?
    The river turns my hands ice cold
    and the lights flicker from my pain.
    It's hard to bear a hurt so deep
    I fear I'm turning insane.
    The dagger keeps sinking deeper...
    deeper still into my heart.
    My chest is about to burst
    from the emptiness when we're apart.
    I shall be here till the end of the world.
    I will wait for you till all life ends.
