As a night will fall as dusk to day,
A toll of Death, for us to pay
A key to leave to doors we’ve built
Along our life of lies and guilt
What is past our final stand
To who we offered up a hand
Our last true love, our last farewell
To a place of peace, away from Hell
Is our life more than what’s behind
The deep catacombs of our innocent mind
And what is more for us to say
At the final hours of our day
Do we have more we’ve left behind
Is there more to life for us to find
What is left for us to survive
Another comb in death’s dark hive
At death do we remember as we leave Earth
Our first ever moments, our life and birth
But are we here to return to light
Or are we destined still to fight
Our enemies in life and time
The people who we did to crime
Or is there so much more to behold
To do much more than what we’re told
The reality of this is simple to see
The culprit is you, but Death is me
