• Precious memories

    We will remember the white snow brought to us by the sky
    the delicious hot chocolate and the chicken pot pie,
    the cozy warm blankets, the crackle of fire,
    watching the sparks rise higher and higher.

    We will remember the family gatherings
    and the laughter and holy Christmas chantings
    the day we put up the Christmas tree
    and started singing It's the Season to be Jolly
    And as soon as our father turned on the tree's lights,
    we started enjoying those sparkling nights.

    We will remember, how happy,
    we were for our coming VIP,
    for 2010 to come and cherish our hearts with new resolutions
    the dancing and singing, the pizza and drinking potions,
    the three, two,one and the sound of fireworks,
    as a new day comes in to us and gives us the fresh perks.

    We will remember what winter brought to us
    While we sunbathe at the beach
    but for now
    we know that summer is out of reach,
    so look at your pictures,
    smile as you remember those church lectures
    and then think,
    how are we so lucky to have such a great winter?
