those many I've proven I'm not,
why haven't you realized,
I'm here to stay,
to never give up,
I won't run,
I'll always be here,
I won't harm you,
I'll always help you,
I haven't lost hope,
or lost love,
my love for you,
has been here all along,
in sickness and health,
for better or worse,
I'll always be here,
I'll never give up,
because you have my heart,
I'll never stop,
until I have yours,
yet again.

hmmm.. coach, what's up with this unrequited love as subject all of a sudden??

the words and flow of the poem capture so much of it.. and it lets your reader feel the pain and bittersweetness of it all.

hmmm.. i wonder, does writing about this ease it somehow?? or probably not??
