• They ask of me why I do not like the darkness. Why? In darkness, there is no hope, no joy, only agony. But in the light, there is only joy, hope and happiness. And it's not only those things that make up the darkness for which I fear. Perhaps someday we can come to understand what it truly is about darkness that makes it so…unimaginable, unpredictable, and frightening. The ones who do not fear it are the ones who repeatedly tell themselves there is nothing there.

    Indeed my friends, darkness holds more than anyone could ever imagine. For in darkness, our wildest horrors may come true, may be awakened beyond our comprehension; for we did not mean to open those doors, those satanic gateways to hell. Or perhaps we did? It depends on what has happened in our lives, but in the end, even if you believe there is nothing there, in the back of your mind, you know your fate. Too much darkness makes your horrors a reality.

    But you can change all that. You do not have to succumb to your fears. Come back to the light, where you are safe. There is your reality. In light, all fears turn to dust, and are blown away one by one- but only you can make them disappear- back into the feared darkness. It doesn't matter where the light is coming from, or how much of it is there. Just knowing it is there can give you the strength to keep on fighting.

    There is always hope, happiness, and joy in light. There will always be friends, family, endless laughter, prosperity, nirvana, love, and peace. So do not go back to the lust of the darkness, for it is gluttonous and will devour you, until you are gasping for breath and are nothing but a fading shred of life clinging to a faint hope that you can pull through. Sadly, sometimes people can't take it anymore, and loosen their grasp. But if you are one of the lucky ones who find that they can pull through, never let it go. It will take you back to reality once more.

    There will always be someone who cares. So please, I will ask once more- abandon the darkness, and all of your fears, and come back to the light. I'll be waiting for you, as always.
