My Prince


Oh. where have you gone?
My sweet prince, my love,
Oh, what have you done?
Loneliness replaced the feelings I have.

All the nights I spent crying,
and waiting for you to be back
All the days I felt like dying.
without you is a day on a rack

All I can do is wait
for you to save me from despair
for now I hold on to my faith
so that my heart will be repaired.

Nice, but this isn't freeform, so you'll need some rhythm of some sort, and there was none. The first stanza didn't really rhyme, but it's a really nice poem.
