    as i watch the leaves change colors
    as summer turns to fall
    i listen to the birds as they sing their finale song
    i wonder how this happened
    how i could fall so hard
    when all my days i've tried so hard to miss your every call
    how ludicrous i'm sounding
    will you understand a word
    will you realize how your touch is destroying mine own world
    i know you do not try to
    it's just the way things are
    it's not your fault your smile can make me feel so small
