A frozen life
Of solitude and woe.
Misery wins
Increasing the sorrow.
Feeling hated
abandoned
disliked
abused
and sad
Trying to drown my sadness
In slitting my wrists.
Oh I wish for comfort
And happiness I missed.
Oh how I wonder
What would people see
In a world without me.
Would they see misery?
Or pure ecstasy?
After all I'm
unimportant
ignored
useless
and stupid
Their bogus smiles
Just a facade
Of something they are
But really they're not.
Every day I choose to be brave
But that courage
Is slipping away.
All my happiness
Now being drained
All that's left
Is tears of pain.
I'm a freak
Whom no one will seek
With this invisible curse
If you see it,
Will you care?
Will you stay?
Or will you be like everyone else?
Who will just walk away?

- Title: A Mystery of Misery
- Artist: SharpSmiles
- Description: Just something I wrote after feeling disliked in school. It's called A Mystery of Misery because this sadness is what I feel in the inside. Nobody knows about this but God, and obviously the audience. And it's because this sadness may sound obscure to others. I really hope you enjoy it, despite the grim demeanor :)
