How do I explain that I'd die for you

Can I tell you what your worth?

How does a fish show it's need for the ocean

Or a bird for it's Wings.

Take me with you on your journeys

So that with me you may be safe

Your foes and mishaps clang uselessly

Against a heart of warming stone

Know that as long as I'm with you

You'll never fear again

So how do I tell you I'd die for you

But to call myself your Shield
