Snow fell on minds of our minority,
This frozen grave never to read scholar,
Silenced the tongue that screamed equality,
As I lay bleeding behind the collar.
But this collar never silenced me,
As I spoke with words I did not own,
Sleeping Beauty are you on duty?
Only silence echoed, only silence echoed.
I watched as my sonnet got tangled,
Amidst the language the government strangled,
Oh admire the humble daffodil,
It got shot and now it's bleeding life,
I wasn't the assassin I cried, I cried,
Yet I'm the one holding the knife.
And I'm the one holding the knife.
Snow fell on minds of our minority,
This frozen grave never to read scholar,
And it was me who screamed equality,
Falling as I bled behind the collar.
This is no sonnet watch it collapse,
With poetry thats on a mental relapse.

- Title: Controversy of a Sonnet
- Artist: Sunafire

Description:
This is not a sonnet, whatsoever as any poet can see. It's just a little something about how messed up words can be... if that makes any sense. I'll leave it for you to decide.

- it's actually one of the better poems i've found on gaia. honestly. but there are a few things that sort of bother me, it is a very good idea, the main of the poem, but you should find new words that not everyone uses. and i don't know how anyone could mistake it for a sonnet, the couplets are off! haha good effort 4/5 ****
