I wish I was an angel,
so maybe I could leave this behind.
I wish I were stronger,
so I could break from this strong bind.

I wish I were perfect,
and that everything was okay.
I wish that these demons,
could just leave me alone today.

I wish I could stop hurting,
and forget I ever made these scars.
I wish I could stop burning,
and get away from all my wars.

I wish I could stop breathing,
so maybe I could be gone.
I wish I could stop crying,
and wondering where it went wrong.

I wish that tomorrow,
will be better than today.

just let me fly away.
