Within the forgotten land
Untouched by time or human hand
Where calm sea waves meet the sand
The wind sings so sweetly.

There is a sadness in that sound
Knowing soon this place will be found
Reminding this idyllic ground
That happiness is fleeting.

Such a shame that things won't last
Like the beauty of a rose that soon fades fast
A memory belongs to the past
If only it would stay this way.

Never again, not any more
Will this place be like it was before
History has already closed its door.
I can only remember this day.
