• Love is like...

    The seasons
    Ever changing ever flowing
    It leaves you guessing never knowing
    It can turn hot
    Or turn oh so cold

    It can be as changing as the wind that blows
    It can be as steady as the sea
    But, it will never do what you want it to
    And it will never be what you want it to be
    It can leave you breathless from the beauty
    Or dump you into the darkest hollows of sadness

    Whatever it does it will not leave
    For like the season it always comes back around
    In some way shape or form it will find you again
    Someone will say they love you and take you through it again
    One thing I have learned that is oh so true
    You cannot change the seasons or a love that is not meant to be
    But, you can live and love, and be who you are
    Just don’t let things go too far

    Because love is like...
    A deep dark sea
    Full of secrets and hidden wonders
    Some lovely some wildly greedy
    Love is like
    A warm summer rain
    When you lay on the drive way and simply let things be
    Love is a journey that can break you time and again
    But, if you find that special someone it will bless you over, and over again
    Do not rush love you cannot make it hot or cold
    You must simply go through it
    Like the leaves changing from green to gold
    Love is like so many things
    Like fire dancing bright
    Like the season’s that bring both death and occasionally new life
