Drowning sounds mingled with my heart beat
Life's Tethered down to this cold concrete
Another lie for the folders, another ******** punch in the face
Add it up for the share holders, another narcissistic rat race
Self destructive thoughts escape to another memory in a sad sad way
Killing my mind in its own way, you won't survive this day it would say
So let's toss out those misplaced memories
Set on nothing but broken promises and devolish schemes
Throw it all away for the generations new themes
Things aren't what they seem

Description:
""Give me one reason to trust you" she said, and I replied.
"I can not for I have none" and she cried.
"Then give me your trust so that mine can return" she said, and I replied.
"I can not for I have none" and I would have cried, but my eyes have dried.
"Then share with me a starving need to hold on" she said, and I replied.
"I can not for I have none""

I like them. They're both original.
However, I find your need to rhyme disrupting the flow of words. It could go smoother, but since my knowledge of poems is limited, what you did may have been intentional. IF THAT IS TRUE, then yeah. :3
