-
Songs curl off the tongue.
Of bloodthirst and slaughter,
Of warfare and death.
Beautiful, they are,
Yet so very haunting.
The voice lingers on the wind,
Echoing the fiery forest.
Hollowed trees,
Where I now leave,
For my enemy's long since passed.
The faerys song of vampires,
Stop me where I tread.
I and my kin,
The very bloodlusters she sings of.
But I remain unhindered,
By the lullaby.
I walk on.
