• Seven feet tall yet you can't seem to grow up
eleven years old and i wanted to give up
trying to make people like me but you were the
catalyst eating away at me i was a
lonely boy confused and unsatisfied by the
way we were living your words still resound through the years
it's simple to say that you were adolescent
when you drove me to take every action to end it
something was wrong but i couldn't place fingers on
anything you did that caused me to suffer
a drunk angry dad and a shell of a mother
were filling the void that you caused me to hate and to fear

    we'll wait for that moment
when life strikes a chord we can play
    it's only a moment
but we won't let it slip away

sounding so smug when you talk about yourself
you sound so assured but we question your resolve
what will you do when all of your fame washes away
you'll pack all your bags and you'll try to come back home
but no one will welcome you after you've been gone
someday you'll die because everybody gets their turn
and you'll burn in hell like the way you were meant to
your mother and father won't come to your funeral
we'll have the mortician wipe all of the smile off your face
we'll fill up your casket with cement and throw it
way out into the deepest part of the ocean
you'll sink the the bottom where nothing could ever return

    we'll wait for that moment
when life strikes a chord we can play
    it's only a moment
but we won't let it slip away
