I've lost it haven't I?
The need that most my age crave.
The want, the lust, and the never ending hope.
The happiness that love gave.
I feel the crush seeping in,
It's deadly hands do climb.
To others its a graceful rise,
but my soul it devours and dines.
I've fallen before,
and that was enough.
I've loved with all my heart
and that was a bust.
Should I be pitied?
Called a fool?
Should I be afraid?
Called coward to?
But I just want to be safe.
That is all that I know.
And when love grabs my heart.
that net dissipates below.
I do not wish for love,
Yet my heart still yearns.
And I'm falling into the trap again
And my heart, it;ll never learn.

- I really liked the poem angel141791. Because you used GREAT word choice such as : dissipates. Even though I have no clue what that word means I just knew that, that word was a word that made me rate you with a 5!!!!!!!!!!
