Waves Of The Ocean

I am the waves in the ocean.
Determined to arrive on shore.
I reach out with all my might.
So close, so close.
I fail.
I am the waves in the ocean

I am the waves in the ocean.
I ride the waters night and day.
I go with the flow, not against it.
I am the waves in the ocean.

I am the waves in the ocean.
When I set a goal for myself I don't give up.
I am the waves in the ocean.

It's more of an affect poem than a discription poem.

What is it saying? Keep trying no matter what and you'll get there? Conform and go with the flow and you'll succeed? This shows potential but you need to think of your message.
