• Here I stand on this Earth,
    Looking over the landscape,
As the planet is so calm,
And the winds blow past my face.
    I feel the cool breeze,
    On such a beautiful day,
    And here on this hill,
    Sitting by a tree.
I watch the people down the hill,
    Relax and play,
Without a care in the world,
With nothing but them and life.
    I close my eyes,
    And fall asleep,
    Only to be awaken,
    By your shadow.
You smile and look into my eyes,
Giving a sweet kiss on my lips,
And your words wing in my mind,
"Come on... Its time to go."
You run off ahead of me,
Giggling all the way down the hill,
    As I follow you along,
    Something feels wrong.
    The ground began to shake,
But no one seems to notice,
    Running down the hill,
    Screaming your name.
    But the ground under you,
    Gives way to the darkness,
And you fall into the abyss,
And I can only watch helplessly.
The world around the patch I stand on,
    Was now gone,
    Only surrounded by darkness,
    And the fires of hell.
    Surrounded all I can do,
    Is sit there helpless,
    Hopeless,
    With a dying heart.
    As I die,
    I miss you more,
    I miss the calm,
    And I finally succumb.
    Giving up hope...
    Giving up on life...
And the earth I sit on...
Gives way from the burden I bare...
