It happened right before your very eyes
It is the best thing that could've happened
Any longer and I wouldn't have made it
My perception was toyed with to the point at which my intentions were misconstrued
And I will no longer roll with the punches.

I'm not the same kid from your memory
I might swear it's not your fault
Either way,
One could gather that we don't get along in the same social circle,
So it's best we're kept apart.

Life gets crazy.
