-
As the moon repels the sun
another day will pass.
Another hours going by
as sand slides down the glass.
When the sun descends from the
edge of the earth
A flame among night shall rise.
to banish demons of the night
from the shadows in which they hide.
For now the battles over
but the war is far from won.
The flame shall perish in effort
to reincarnate the sun.
As the sun repels the moon
another night will pass.
Another hours going by
as sand slides down the glass.
When the moon decends from the
edge of the earth.
The shadows will rise and mend.
For when the sun is pushed away
the war will begin again.

- I considerably like this poem. It's a great narrative and also has some meaning. However watch your use of cliches such as in the 10the and 11th lines of your poem, it can make your poetry become very unoriginal.
