It happened, the inevitable
Tragedy
Torn from my hand and flung to the ground
Gravity
Your broken, cold form held in my palm
Irony
Only a day until you could rest
Depravity
In my pocket you are now useless
Agony!
Now no one can call me, not even
Company
Who knew disconnection could be so....
Unhappy
Farewell, dear cellphone, you served me well.

Description:
Written for a tragic, heart-wrenching thing that happened to me today....
Note: Yes, this is sarcastic. While my phone did die, I thought it would be funny to write a depressing poem about it. - Date: 08/17/2009

- lol, I like your sense of humor ^__^. I was all depressed or what ever for a lil bit then I read "In my pocket..." and I was a little confused (I didn't read your description before I read the poem) I randomly started laughing and my family looked at me like I was crazy....
